This custom Fairfield Inn & Suites sits on a 0.35 acre infill site at the intersection of West Huron Street and North 1st Street in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan. The 5-story structure is composed of 3 stories of Type VA wood frame construction over a 2 level Type IA concrete podium. Designed to honor the surrounding context of contemporary architecture and historical structures, the exterior is clad in a blend of white and silver metal panel with rich brick textures at the base.
